About Me.

I am a social worker (M.S.W from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem).

During my bachelor's degree, I specialise in community social work, and then I completed with honors my master's degree in social work in combination with the "The Lafer Center for Women's and Gender Studies" at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I started my involvement with the LGBTQ+ community at the age of 16 as a volunteer at "Bela Doegat" (the LGBT arm of the Israeli AIDS Task Force) and continued as an activist at the Israeli Gay Youth Organization (IGY) and later as a youth guide and coordinator of the organization's content development and training.

After my bachelor's degree, I worked as the social worker and coordinator of the Teens & Youth Programs at the "Jerusalem Open House for Pride and Tolerance", and opened the "Mikveh Bar" in Jerusalem for the LGBTQ+ community.

In addition to working with the LGBTQ+ community, I have been fortunate to work with people on the autism spectrum and with people with mental health issues and expand my understanding of the impact of "otherness" on the individual.

In recent years, I have worked mainly with the transgender community as the director and social worker of the "Transitioning Apartments" for young trans* people, as well as as part of my work in the "The unit for counseling and therapy" of the LGBTQ community center in Tel Aviv, where I worked around diverse issues individually as well as a group facilitator.

Over the years I have participated as a facilitator and as a participant, in various professional trainings and even learned the approach of Narrative Therapy through the "Barcai Institute" in Tel-Aviv.

Between the years 2014-2019, I taught the course "Theories of Sexuality and Practice in Social Work with the LGBT Community" as part of the bachelor's degree in social work at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

In 2019 I moved to Berlin, where I spent the first year adapting to the culture and learning the German language.

Today I work individually as a professional supervisor and counselor, in an integrative way that combines different therapeutic approaches and socio-critical thinking based on the needs of the person I work with while always sharing knowledge and empowerment with the people I work with.
